Developing entrepreneurship competences in the digital age

Target Audience

  • Teachers (Pre-school, primary, secondary, vocational, adult, special needs)
  • Teacher trainers
  • Careers officers, educational guides and counsellors
  • Inspectors
  • Headteachers/principals/managers of schools/organisations offering adult education
  • Other (Paid or voluntary) management staff in the institution/organisation
  • Non-teaching administrative staff
  • Members of students/teachers councils in adult education
  • Other, namely: chamber of commerce



This is an in-service training programme for students interested in developing entrepreneurial mindset. This could include second-level teachers of business or economics, consultants and trainers providing courses for potential entrepreneurs, career advisers, representatives of the chambers of commerce, academics or those working within third-level institutions or business representative bodies or networks.
At the end of the programme, participants would be expected to:

  • Have a better understanding of entrepreneurship in its broader context
  • Have a better understanding of financing methods
  • Improve networking competences
  • Be able to create a business plan
  • Be able to build up a professional relation with a business mentor
  • Have a training pack for developing entrepreneurship competences
  • Create a new network which will collaborate on potential projects in the future
